From the founder
I grew up believing beautiful things were for later: the good bag saved for occasions, the good shoes kept in their box. Carmine is my answer to that. I design bags for the woman I wanted to become: composed, a little bold, and never waiting for permission. If one of them makes you stand a little straighter on an ordinary Tuesday, it is doing its job.

The atelier
Made properly, or not at all
Every Carmine bag is produced in a small family-run atelier we visit personally. Panels are cut and glazed by hand, edges are painted and re-painted until the seam disappears, and the champagne-gold hardware is set by people who have done exactly this for decades. Before a bag ships, it passes six separate checks: stitching, structure, clasp, lining, finish, and shine.
